Praise Fellowship and the Association of Home Churches met together for a joint service Sunday afternoon, September 13, at the Howard Johnson Hotel. It was a great time of praise, worship and fellowship, in spite of some technical difficulties.
During the meeting we viewed the first segment of a video about the simple church movement. This segment is available on YouTube at this link: When You Come Together Part 1. The other 2 segments are also available: When You Come Together Part 2 and When You Come Together Part 3. The complete video is available on dvd by contacting Jim Mellon at 254-616-2020 .
We are seeking the Lord regarding the date and location of our next joint meeting. Please feel free to provide any comments or suggestions you may have.
Scott Windrum at Howard Johnson
Scott Windrum of Windsong Ministries was the guest speaker at a special meeting at Killeen’s Howard Johnson hotel Wednesday, July 15, 2009. The event was sponsored jointly by Praise Fellowship and the Association of Home Churches, and approximately 50 people were in attendance.
Praise Fellowship opened the meeting with a time of vibrant worship, and Scott followed with a dynamic message of encouragement for the body of Christ, engaging all who were present. Afterward, Scott picked up his guitar and ministered prophetically in song and word to various individuals around the room, as the Holy Spirit gave him utterance. This is Scott’s unique and powerful style of conveying God’s truths to individuals and groups.
A recording of the evening is available on a pair of CD’s free of charge to anyone who wants them. The CD’s can be picked up at Eye City in Harker Heights, which is located at 300 East FM 2410, across from Starbucks.
The recordings can also be downloaded in mp3 format from our resources section.
